Vernon Glen Swenson Sr., age 86, Lincoln, passed away August 4, 2019. He was born in Lincoln to Glen and Florence (Wilding) Swenson July 29, 1933. Vern served in the Nebraska Army National Guard enlisting at the age of 14. Vern was a retired Teamster and bus driver for L.P.S. He was a lifelong member of Moose Lodge #175.
Survivors include, son Vernon Jr. (Julie), Lincoln; Grandchildren, Brandi (Neil) Terry, Temecula, CA, Chris Smith, Colorado Springs, CO, Chuck (Jen) Baker, Twenty-nine Psalms, CA, Courtney Baker, Lincoln; Great Grandson, Brandon Terry, Temecula, CA. Brothers, Earl, Bill, Gary, Ron (Rebela); Sisters, Sharon Durham, Joyce (Jim) Chubbuck. Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wives, Donita, Patricia; Daughters, Nancy Baker, Tracy Ransom.
Celebration of Life services will be October 13, 2019 at V.F.W. Post #3606, 3340 West “A” Street, Lincoln from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com. Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln are handling the arrangements.
