Dale Lincoln Hanika, age 88, Lincoln, formerly Falls City, died January 13, 2017 at The Waterford at College View in Lincoln. He was born at Shubert, NE on February 12, 1928 to Harold and Pearl (Sailors) Hanika.
Dale served in the United States Army at Fort Bliss Texas from 1954-1956. After the service, Dale farmed and was owner of Dale Hanika Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning in Falls City for many years.
Dale is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Patti Hanika of Wheaton, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Steve Brunken of Lincoln; Grandchildren and spouses, Justin and Meghan Hanika, Kristin Hanika, Scott and Ryan Brunken, and Lauren Brunken; Great Granddaughter, Madison Hanika
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Summit Falls Apartments Clubhouse, 8300 Renatta Drive, Lincoln. A private family burial will be held at the Harris Cemetery in Barada, NE. Memorials in care of the Capital Humane Society. Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com. Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “0” Street, Lincoln are handling the arrangements.
So very sorry for your family’s loss. Although we never met dale we have been blessed to know his children and grandchildren. Our thoughtsecret and prayers are with you.
