Jeanne Ann Royal, age 63, Lincoln, passed away May 23, 2018 in Lincoln. She was born November 3, 1954 in Superior, Nebraska to Donald and Laurine (McCutchan) Rust. Jeannne graduated from Geneva High School on May 21, 1973. She attended Joseph’s College of Beauty and graduated as a Licensed Cosmotologist and later worked for L.T.&T. Jeanne was baptized at the United Methodist Church in Nelson, Nebraska and confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Geneva, Nebraska. She was married to LeRoy Royal of Lincoln on October 28, 1983 in Geneva at the United Methodist Church and to this union, one child, Amanda, was born.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter Amanda, her only grandchild Jordan, her sisters JoDee (Paul) Mika of Exeter, Nebraska and Jan (Kurt) Myers of Geneva, brother Steve of Geneva, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Cecilia Royal, sister-in-law Mary Rust, and niece Erin Rust.
She greatly enjoyed the Huskers, professional football, basketball, and loved the Wizard of Oz. She will be missed.

You will surely be missed. I enjoyed going to the Husker women’s basketball and gymnastics events with you and Amanda and will cherish the memories. We had a good time at the telephone company too – I loved having her in the next cube over to talk with.
