James W. “Jim” Reynolds, age 77, Lincoln, was born on February 18, 1942 and went to be with his Lord on March 10, 2019.  He was born in Walthill, Nebraska to William and Marie (Campbell) Reynolds.  Jim graduated from Walthill High School in 1960.  He enlisted in the United State Navy in 1962 as a submariner on the U.S.S. Bonefish, and served as a diesel engine operator obtaining the rank of E-5 and was honorably discharged April 1966.

Jim married Janice Berg in 1964, to this union twin sons and a daughter were born.  He married Cheryl Jochim Talbot in July 1985.  Jim worked as an over-the-road truck driver and construction truck driver most of his life.  He enjoyed all kinds of sports including hunting, fishing, billiards, archary, and bowling.  He also liked boating and gardening and was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.  He was also a race car driver in the Sioux City, Iowa area for many years.

Jim is survived by his wife, Cheryl, Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law, Karla Reynolds Buck and Rick, Oakridge, OR; stepson, Chris Talbot, Lincoln; grandchildren, Zachery Reynolds, Madison, WI, Challen Reynolds, Lincoln, Nicole Frost, Lincoln.  Brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave and Francia, Lacey, WA, Dennis and Tedi, Bainbridge Island, WA, Jeff and Michele, Port Angeles, WA; Sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Jeff Freeland, Tacoma, WA.  Many cousins, friends and his cat, Bella.  He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Caroline Jochim; son, Bryan Reynolds; stepson, Erik Talbot; brother, William Reynolds.

Funeral services will be at Noon, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln.  Visitation will be one hour before services.    Interment and Military Honors will be at the West Blue Cemetery near Milford.  Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com.
