LaVon Van Vors, Crete, NE, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. She was the second child born to Rosella (Hensley) and Walter Van Vors (Walter was killed in battle in W.W. II) on November 25, 1942 in Dubuque, Iowa.  LaVon loved her family and many friends.  She had a love for animals, especially her Dachshund, Kia.  She enjoyed crafting, gardening, quilting, painting and an occasional Casino trip.

LaVon was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ron Van Vors and sister Paula Rech.  She is survived by her brother Denny Berg, sons Joe (Justine) and Leeland (Mary), daughters Lynn, Lora (Bill) and Lisa (Frank), many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Celebration of life, food and party to be held at the Millard V.F.W.
