Randy Ray Bargman was born December 22, 1966 to Elmer E Bargman and Bonnie B (Stern) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, NE and passed away August 20, 2026 in Lincoln. He was the youngest of 7 children. He graduated in 1987 from Crete High School. After graduation, he worked at Sportsman’s Bar & Grill where he developed his love for cooking, until he joined the custodial staff at Doane University. Randy worked at Doane for 27 years, which is where he was currently employed. It was there that he embraced his fellow workers as his second family. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed watching football, watching Family Guy, going to the casino, concerts, the State Fair, dirt track races in Beatrice, and dancing in his younger days. He especially liked spending time with his family and friends.

Through a mutual friend, he met his life long partner, Deb Luzum. They enjoyed their life together for 35 years. They also shared their lives with Colby and Toby, their furry family.

Randy is survived by his life long partner, Deb, brother Dennis (Sue) Bargman, sisters Janice Znamenacek, Mona (Dan) Heusinkvelt, and Lisa Bargman Safar. Elaine Luzum, Terry Luzum and Jody, Rhonda (Larry) Hajek, Kevin (Carrie) Luzum. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and his Doane family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, brother Ricky Bargman, sister Jeanette Bargman, brother-in-law Roger Znamenacek, nephews David Znamenacek, Bryan Bargman, and Rico Benavidez and great nephew Josef Alhachami and great niece Maggie Boyer.

Services will be held Thursday, August 27th at 10:30 a.m. at the UCC Church in Crete, 440 E. 12th St. A luncheon will follow at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall, one block north of the church. Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com. Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln.
