Delmar LeRoy Dormer was born on August 29, 1930 and died December 30, 2025 in the hospital after a short illness. He was born to John and Frances (Whitmarsh) Dormer and is survived by his brothers Glen and John Dormer, his children and spouses Darrell and Lori (Hoover) Dormer, Delmar and Jennifer (Tessier) Dormer and Deb Bolte. He was preceded in death by his siblings and spouses Lucille (Dormer) and Kenneth Beetem, Virginia (Dormer) and Thomas Roller and children Dianne Crouse, Doris Dormer, Daniel Dormer and Donna Dormer. He has many grandchildren.
Delmar was a RC plane fan with a love for fishing and camping that kept him young. His red hair and Dormer style kept him bold and his family kept him humble. His passion for CB radios kept him connected. He worked at Nebraska Boiler most of his adult life.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home.
