Scott Joseph Borgmann, age 68, Lincoln, passed away surrounded by the love of his family January 22, 2026 in Lincoln. He was born December 11, 1957 in Lincoln to Dean Ward and Barbara Hiatt, he was adopted by Charlie Borgmann. Scott work at Rivers Metal Products for 24 years, he retired at age 63 due to medical issues. He was know for his steady work ethic, reliability and the easy going nature that made him a friend to many Scott loved racing, car shows and working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed family times and vacations.
Scott’s family will remember him for his quiet strength, his loyalty, and the steady presence he brought into every room. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Scott is survived by his wife Terri Borgmann of 46 years; brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces all whom he cared for deeply. Scott was preceded in death by his step-father Charlie Borgmann, father Dean Ward, and mother Barbara Borgmann. Their memory remained an important part of his life, and he is now reunited with them in peace.
Graveside Services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Centerville Cemetery, 1800 West Roca Road, Martell with Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery prior to services. A reception will be held at Scott and Terri’s home immediately following the graveside services.
