Darlene Ann Miller, age 88, Lincoln, passed away July 27, 2018 at High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Lincoln. She was born in Fillmore County, Nebraska on June 9, 1930 to John R. and Anna R. (Elznic) Stofer Jr. Darlene was a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church and Southminster United Methodist Church in Lincoln. She was baptized at the Hebron United Methodist Church on December 7, 1962 by Reverend William Doran.
Darlene is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Dan Miller and John and Dela Miller of Lincoln; grandchildren and spouses, Jessica and Noah Greenwald of Lincoln, Jennifer Miller of Lincoln, Tracy and Michael Clark of Omaha; great grandchildren, Zoey Greenwald of Lincoln, Evan Jones of Omaha, and Noah Clark of Omaha; Brother, Bernard Stofer of Deshler; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Charles Polage of Texas; Nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby E. Miller; son, Bobby E. Miller; parents, John R. and Anna R. Stofer Jr.; brothers, Anton Stofer and Rudy Stofer; sister, Ruby Phelps.
Dan, John and Dela, my sympathies to you and your families. Your mother was a wonderful lady. May God grant you comfort.

I worked with Darlene at Lancaster Manor for many years. She was a great lady and I will always remember the laughs and times we shared. Thoughts and prayers to family.
