“Hunter’s Prayer”
“God grant that I may live
to hunt until my dying day
and when it comes
to my last shot
I then most humbly pray;
When in the Lord’s
safe game bag
I’m peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be judged
a fitting trophy to keep.”
He always treated me with respect and kindness. He saw a motorcycle that he figured I wanted and negotiated a lower price before I got there. I bought the bike and am grateful for his help.
So much Love !!!
Words seem to small to express the sadness we feel about Mike’s death. He will be missed by us all. Praying for his family and friends in these difficult times. With heartfelt sympathy.
When a person becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

We had the pleasure of meeting him thru Tami.
Thinking of his family and friends during this difficult time.
I have only known Mike for fifteen years and he has always treated me like his Dad. We spent many days laying in a cornfield waiting for the snow geese yo come in. Also fishing for flatheads at Branched Oak. I will miss my friend. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Condolences to the family of Mike Spencer, and Tami Westmorland as well. Mike was a good friend and I will miss his pulled pork sandwiches and honest responses. I hope you find a good home for his dogs. He had a lot of friends and will be missed.
Love and hugs to Mike’s family and Tami. I have known Mike all of my life. He was a big brother to me. He was my brother, Curtis Bastow’s, best friend until my brother died at the age of 18. Mike continued to be in my life and has been there for me so many times. I am so grateful. He then became friends with my husband and my kids. My heart is broken and I will miss him terribly. God bless Mikayla, Carlee, Kingston, his mother, brother, and also Tami. Mike was such a very proud dad and papa; he would glow with pride talking about them all.
We shared a lot of fun times together and will miss you immensely. Keep dancing my friend. Love, Royce and Jo Kreitman
I’ve know Mikey for over 40 years. We shared many a time in the field, and he always gave me whatever birds he nailed. we shared plenty of supporting conversations in the tribulations of each other’s lives. While he was always one to drive a hard bargain, the driven salesman he was, he ended with being far more generous than he had too – his caring friendship always came through. Some of my wife’s finest attire came from his Ebay business, which for he was fun. His last few years he heard and heeded Christ’s Call. And now that The Lord has called him Home, I know he is still smiling down at us. Bless you Brother, I thank God for bringing us together.
Met Spence while working on Tami’s house. He made Shure I wouldn’t overcharge lol, a guy who I wish could have known better. Can’t replace Mike Spencer !!
Prayers to the family and friends.
We all have so many priceless memories with Mike over the years. Curt and I have been blessed to have stayed in touch with him for over 45+ years… from school many years ago, the guys going hunting, fishing and dancing to some great music that’s what we all need now are those memories ♥️ and hold them close but still in shock.. Hard to say goodbye when I just saw him and his sweet Mom Ruby at the grocery store 4 weeks ago..we both had just celebrated our birthdays and flipping each other crap… that was my last hug from him . prayers to his family and so many friends
