Thelma Corine DeYong, age 82, Lincoln, passed away February 16, 2023, beloved wife, mother and daughter. She is survived by her loving husband Allan DeYong. They were married on May 27, 1958 and committed to each other for 64 years. Two children were born to this union, son David (Joanne) DeYong and daughter Laurie DeLaCruz. She is also survived by three grandchildren Stephanie, Courtney and Nick DeYong, and six great grandchildren, her sister Phyliss Gress, sister-in-law Hazel Lawton, sister-in-law Marlene (Dean) Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents Richard “Dick” and Marge (Stoner) Lawton, brothers Evertt and Larry Lawton.
