Linda C. Gillan, age 69, Lincoln, passed away August 17, 2016 in Lincoln. She was born on January 19, 1947 in Seattle, WA to Louis and Peggy (Hughbanks) Coupez. She married Jerry Gillan on January 18, 1969 in Seattle. They moved to Nebraska in 1971. Linda worked for Miller and Paine, then Dillard’s from 1973 until her retirement in 2008.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Gillan of Lincoln and Kathy Gillan of Lincoln; grandchildren, Andrew, Gabriel, and Mahalia Gillan; great-granddaughter, Rose Gillan; sisters, Susie (Peter) Baker, Cathy (Mark) Wanich, Diane (Robbins) Harper; brothers, Don Coupez, Rick (Lori) Coupez; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry, and brother Dave Coupez.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at St. John The Apostle Parish, 7601 Vine Street, Lincoln. Inurnment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park, at a later date. Memorials in care of the family. Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com. Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln are handling the arrangements.
