Billie Jo (Cordry) Filipi was born January 16, 1974 in Fairbury, NE to Billy Lee Cordry and Hazel Marie (Barnes) Cordry. She graduated from Wilber – Clatonia High School in 1992. Billie married Edward Filipi on February 18, 2000.
Survivors include husband Edward , sons Caleb (Cheyanne) Filipi and E.J., all of Wilber. Siblings Charles (Linda) Nelson of Hastings, Arliene (George) Griel of Superior, Donald Nelson of Fairbury, Connie (Donovan) Fox of Mahaska, KS, Brian (Cheri) Nelson of Wilber, Tammy (Leo) Douglas of Crete, Todd Filipi of Wilber, special friend Carin Jelinek of Wilber. Nieces , nephews, many other family and numerous friends.
Billie departed this life on May 29, 2019 at her home in Wilber, NE. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 6, 2019 at 10:30 at Sokol Hall in Wilber, NE. with luncheon to follow. Casual attire and Billies favorite color Blue is optional. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Edward Filipi 612 W. Elm St. Wilber, NE 68465

I grew up with Billie Jo from kindergarten onto highschool. Ive known her since I was 6 yrs old. she was a good person with a good heart. We fell apart after highschool and went on with our lives.
Im still speechless shes gone. Shes to young. She will be missed my many.

Billie was a great friend. She was always willing to help out or just listen to me when I needed it. She was truely a very special person. I miss her even though I didn’t see her on a daily basis.
