I am very sorry to here this RIP and condolence to the family. I knew him well in high school
My prayers for Sally and their family, and for Bob’s mother Beverly and his sisters Barb and a Kathy. Our family farm was right next to their farm. All of the kids grew up together in the country. Such good memories of farm life and country school. Truly a loss to his family. May you find comfort through your faith and in sharing memories as a family.
The oldest friend in my life taken too soon. Thanks for the thousands of memories Bob. Rest with great Peace my friend. Love and prayers to my other family, the Knoells.
Bob was a great guy. Our prayers go out to the family and may he rest in peace.
So very sorry to hear about Bobs passing. May God give y’all comfort at these difficult times. My brother David and I always enjoyed visiting and playing with Bobby when we were kids.
We remember you in our prayers as you mourn and celebrate Bobby. We are so thankful your family could gather together for Bev’s 90th birthday. It was wonderful to meet and visit…none of us ever knowing what this next week would bring. Bob’s celebrating the Resurrection this week in the Church Triumphant…and is welcomed by loved ones there. Peace of the Lord to Sally and family and to all of our dear neighbors, the Knoells.
Sally and family – I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I remember Bob as always upbeat and ready to play when picking up Ryan and Allison from “the babysitter.” Thinking of you at this difficult time and sending deepest condolences.
I’ll never forget being on the Lions midget football team with Bob in 1967.We were the two centers on the team, and we would start every scrimmage by having coach(Art Albright) stand behind Bob and me as we faced away. He would then throw the football 20 or 30 yards out in front of us and it was who could get the ball first-and anything was legal. He mauled me. He was such a gentle giant, but he knew how to play football. And hunt. He took me under his wing when I was 15 and took me hunting with someone besides my dad for the first time. Two quail. I could go on but I won’t. You were the best, Bob. I’m sure my brother Pud was there to welcome you into heaven. Much love-Gregg Kupfer
Sally & family, so sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers.
Sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Bob was a long time friend playing softball together for years. One memory of Bob was when we took a team trip to Kansas City. On a hotel lake, Bob and I were pedaling one of those little paddle boats out in the middle. About in the middle we both looked at each other as we thought the front of the boat was going down. Soon the whole boat started sinking. We jumped off and had to swim to shore watching the boat sink completely. I had a lot of good times back in the day with Bob. Rest in Peace and condolences to Sally and family.
