Marian Kay (Hellbusch) Reeder went home to be with the Lord our Savior on Saturday, October 5th 2019, after a long illness with Cancer. She believes in Jesus Christ as her personal savior.  Marian was born on March 25, 1940 to Theodore and Olga (Hoffman) Hellbusch at the family farm in Nance County near Belgrade, Nebraska.  Schooling included attending Redwind #9 , a one room school, through 8th grade. Marian attended Belgrade High School for 2-years and then graduated from Fullerton High School in 1957. Following high school, she attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska and graduated from Immanual School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Marian finished her education at the University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She worked in various positions as a dedicated nurse for 36-years.

In 1964, she married Russell Reeder of Belgrade, Nebraska. To this union she had one son, Jay Daniel Reeder.  After retirement, she moved to the Ozarks in Missouri. She enjoyed golf, Branson shows, and lake living.  Meanwhile, attending many baseball games in various states in which her three grandsons played at all
levels. It became a love of her life to watch them play ball.  Survivors include her husband Russ of 55-years, son Jay and grandsons Nathan, Zach, and Blake. Also,
many nieces and nephews as well as many friends made over a lifetime.  Marian is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Carl Hellbusch (Infant), Dan Carl Hellbusch, two sisters Betty (Lester) Plumbtree and Donna (Dayle) Horacek. Also, niece Karen Lynn (Plumbtree) Langlois.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Fullerton, NE with Pastor Allen Pengel officiating.  Inurnment will be in the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Belgrade, NE.  A reception will be held at the New Frontier Saloon and Restaurant in Belgrade immediately following the inurnment.  Donations directed to Peace Lutheran Cemetery or the family.  Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com.  Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln are handling the arrangements.
