Anna Mae Edna (Brunsen) Wacker, age 72, died Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln, Neb.

Anna was born August 10, 1947, in Friend, Neb., to William H. and Lorene L. (Schrock) Brunsen. She attended school in Friend and in Lincoln, graduating from Lincoln Northeast High School in 1965.

She married in 1966 and this union produced one son. She married again in 1979 and to this union were born four sons. Anna devoted her life to being a mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her sons and was proud of all their accomplishments. She enjoyed having her grandkids over for sleepovers, especially staying up late and playing games. Anna was an avid crafter. She was talented in sewing, quilting, crocheting, and machine embroidery. Her favorite color was purple and she loved to collect frogs.

Anna is survived by her five sons Troy VanSickle and wife Tami of LaVista, Neb.; JD Wacker and wife Wendy of Alliance, Neb.; David Wacker and fiancée Hallie Garcia of Laramie, Wyoming; Sean Wacker and wife Joelle of Shelby, Neb.; and Jason Wacker of Yuma, Arizona. She is survived by her siblings Lyle (Charlene) Brunsen of Denison, Texas, and Daniel Brunsen, Betty Coleman, and Deloris (Dale) Hauder, all of Lincoln, Neb. Anna is also survived by her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William “Bill” Brunsen, her parents, and her grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 230 Capitol Beach Boulevard, Lincoln with Reverend Ray Norris officiating.  Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Andrews Cemetery, Friend, Nebraska.  Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com.  Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln are handling the arrangements.
