Wayne E. Hansen, age 76, Lincoln, passed away December 16, 2019 at his home in Lincoln.
Amazing father, grandfather, Brother, friend and story teller The Godfather of Garfield! Wayne spent his life working to better his world. Decades working in Corrections and The Lincoln Regional Center and DMV. Wayne loved sports especially his teams the Nebraska Cornhusker and Alabama Crimson Tide! Wayne loves his whole family especially his children and grandchildren! But family meant more then blood and paperwork to him! If you were a part of his world you are his family no matter the distance! Wayne spent his final years with his beloved dog Misty spending as much time with his daughters Delonie (Bryan) Tankesley and Lanita Peirce and grandson Austin Stutzman! He will be greatly missed
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 at Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln with Reverend Ray Norris officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com.
