Remembering my friend and Sister In-Law Linda Gropp, I’m Elena Crane I live in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains my sons Are Sean and Ben Gropp what we have LOVED most about Linda was her quiet support, her loving strength when it seems everything was broken, her endless Coffee Pot some private laughter only shared between the two of us as we talked about the antics of Ben and Emily or how Sean was doing. She checked in on Emily a few months ago hanging out around her kitchen table, we couldn’t stay long, I needed to get back to the job of packing out my house. The only person you would get to have my sons drop everything and Make a MAD DASH across the country in the dead of night was Linda she was Held with such love and respect by them. Even from her hospital bed she chastised Ben for being forgetful of his Meds, secured a promise from Sean to come back and see her, Sean would never defy her request Linda was cherished. Her last words were that she’d never get to go home to her house. All I could think of was the new home she had waiting for her, where she is Forever Young, Free of Pain surrounded by LOVE.
I wanted to thank Pete for attempting to understand A promise made and work commitments. We all Loved Linda very much she will be remembered for the Kindhearted Soul that she was.
Love and Hugs Always
Elena, Abra, Sean, Ben and Emily
