Joshua Michael Robinett was born February 12, 1993 and died Thursday, July 17, 2025. He was born in Lincoln, NE to Timothy and Tonya (Humann) Robinett. Joshua graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School; he also attended Lincoln North Star High School. Joshua had the biggest heart and was always willing to help anyone out. Joshua loved Motorcycles, Orange County Choppers, Big Trucks and loud music, especially Jelly Roll as he idolized him. He loved hanging out with his friends, spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He loved BBQ’s, he loved to cook, and he was good at it too.
He is survived by his family, Father Timothy (Peggy) Robinett, Mother Tonya (Denny) Smallwood. Brothers: Tobias (Janice), Dylan (Tiffani Myrick), Rylee Robinett all of Lincoln. Stepbrothers, Jess Cosgrove of Pennsylvania, Glenn Smallwood of Lincoln, Tyler (Jasmine) and Dustin Armstrong of Lincoln. Aunt Anita (Aaron) Gammel of Lincoln, Uncles Miguel (Donna) of Lincoln, Rick (Becky) of Bennet and Carlos (Molly) Robinett of Colorado. Nieces and Nephews: Hailey, Brianne, Landon, Brendan, Marshall Smallwood, Maddie, Walker, and Owen Robinett, Daxx and Marielle Myrick. And Several cousins, and his emotional support companion, his dog Luna.
Joshua was preceded in death by His Uncle Theodore Robinett, Little brother Reid Robinett, Grandparents Earl Robinett, Grandmother Margaret Arriaga Robinette. Grandparents Albert Earl and Katherine Humann, and great grandparents on both sides of the family.
Celebration of Life 10:00 a.m., Saturday August 2, 2025, Heritage Presbyterian Church, 880 S. 35th Street with Pastor Erica Nelson officiating. Josh was a great friend with a big heart. He always ready to help someone even it’s something small. He loved to make people smile. When ever he needed to talk I would a call and we talk about what was bothering him or just life in general. I will miss you lil brother. Love you and we will see each other again someday.
