It was so sad how the last 5 years or so took such a toll on my brother Ted. After fighting several bouts of cancer he was too weak to fight the stage 4 lung cancer. I’m so thankful he was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and he told me in no uncertain terms he was ready to go to his heavenly reward. I will miss him and life won’t be the same without him but I’m thankful his pain and suffering has ended. He did pass away peacfully at around 9:00 am on August 19th.
So very sorry for your loss.
Ted was a great guy.
Theo will be greatly missed. He was a special double cousin and we shared special interests such as classical music, especially pipe organ selections. I know he enjoyed playing the trumpet in grade school. I also remember his interest with the player piano at our grandmother‘s house.
Since he was a walking encyclopedia, I used his knowledge to help me whenever I had house issues, including appliances, etc.
and we had many good discussions, sharing our love for Jesus and all things Biblical. . He was on his fourth reading of the Bible and also had CDs of the books of the Bible.
On my last visit with him in August, I told him I would see him in heaven.
God blessed him with many gifts and talents. Our God is an awesome God.
