Peace from Life to a fellow WSHS classmate. You are in our thoughts.
I was very upset to learn about Steve’s passing from a kind family member of Steve’s from Sioux Fall’s SD. I had the pleasure of working with Steve for years as van drivers. We worked for the Lancaster Office of Mental Retardation and later Community Alternatives of Nebraska. Steve drove individuals to and from work and his passengers had a number of physical and behavioral challenges which Steve handled very well and professionally. Steve earned the respect of his colleagues and although he was a private and reserved individual, Steve was very approachable and easy to talk to. Smart guy too. I always respected and valued his opinions. Steve retired about 6 or 7 years ago but he would call once in a while and or we would visit at his home in Lincoln. I will miss our conversations and I will think of Steve a great deal. He will be missed. Please accept my deepest condolences on Steve’s untimely passing.
Great man to chit chat with about nearly anything. Old co-worker of mine from Community Alternatives Nebraska. I was a van driver as he was. I believe I worked with him for about 7 years- give or take. Rest in Peace Steve!
