Thank you Ron, for your condolences in the loss of a wonderful sister. She always spoke highly of you, and was a friend to everyone who’s lives she touched. My heart breaks for her, but I know she is in a much better place. She was the best big sister that I could have ever asked for. Always there for me when I needed her. Jean was a very loving person towards Paul and was always by his side taking care of him. She was a very sweet lady and brought a warmth of sunshine to everyone’s day.
Thank you Laura. You are absolutely right. She spent every moment she had by Paul’s side and helped with any of his care that she could. And her bubbly personality and sincere care of people she knew and loved are only a few things I hold dear to my heart. I loved her dearly as a friend and mostly as her sister. May she now Rest in Peace.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Jean. Sadly I never had the opportunity to meet any of Herman and Velma’s children. My Mother, Lucille Evers, spoke of getting to visit Jean and her husband and enjoyed their hospitality. On behalf of the Bebensee cousins in Colorado we extend our sympathies to the family.
Terri, thank you for your condolences for Jean’s loss. She is missed greatly, by those whose lives she touched. Her warm personality and love of all those whose paths she crossed will be deeply missed. Her reunion with all those who went before her was undoubtedly a most beautiful one. She is at peace, and that alone, comforts all.
So sad to hear Jean is gone. We have been reminiscing all week of the many memories of good times with Jean and Hutch, and Jean and Paul. They were so fun, kind and loving. Just the best people to know and be with. Wish everyone could have known Jean and enjoy her smile and laugh! Our sympathy to the family for comfort.
Rick and Mary, thank you so much for your condolences. She will definitely be missed by many. She thought the world of you two, and talked about you often. Her kind and loving spirit will live one, and may she now be free of all pain and torment. I still find it hard to believe that she is gone. And I know that her reunion with those who went before her was a grand and glorious one.
What can I say….Jean (and Paul Beranek) were the type of people who made being part of a townhouse association feel more like a neighborhood. The many kindnesses, good natured laughs and just plain fun she extended to me makes me smile in recalling them. My heart goes out to all of her family, friends and other loved ones during this difficult time…know that she and you all are my prayers and best wishes.
I loved being a neighbor to Jean and Gene (& Shelley?) on Granada Lane. They were very kind to me and everyone. Long after she moved from the neighborhood, I met Jean in a store and was so pleased she remembered me. I will remember Jean’s laugh. My deepest smpathy to Jean’s family and friends.
My husband JJ Dinneen and Paul were high school classmates and forever best friends. We use to spend time with them at the Tack Room. I lost JJ 2 years ago. Paul and Jean were so devoted to each other and she was always at his side during the last months of his life. She was a special lady. I just heard of her passing today. My sympathy to you all.
