He moved to The Gardens in Dec. 2018.
Loren married Joyce Wieting on Oct. 21, 1962 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kramer NE. Two children completed their family, Paul and Melissa. Work was important to Loren, but mostly because of the many friendships he made. He was proud of the trust and respect his clients gave him. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing softball for many years, sponsoring a team. He especially loved playing Santa Claus for area events for 45 years. He was delighted to become a grandpa almost 9 years ago and enjoyed spending time with them. Even when they could no longer visit inside the facility, he looked forward to their visits outside his window and hanging their artwork in his room.

My Dear Church Friend. I am so sorry to hear about the death of your father. May you hold the memories of you dad close to your heart. You have my sympathy. Sad day here for me too. My son in law age 54 passed away this week of a blood clot, but he also had COVID. My church friend I remember you holding my hand when I lost my grandson 9 years ago at age 15. Now my dear daughter has a son and a husband in heaven. I know what loss feels like. May God hold you in His Arms
