James “Jim” Vernon Chaney Sr., Age 76, of Thurman, IA, formerly of Nebraska City, NE passed away January 2nd, 2021 at Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln, NE
Jim was born in Nebraska City, Ne to Paul Allen and Louise (Childers) Chaney January 24, 1944. He grew up and lived in Nebraska City, NE until moving to Thurman, IA.
He is survived by his children, Michelle Campbell and Jim Chaney II (Deb). Grandchildren: Samantha Donahue, Jacqie Nelson (Luke) and Drake Campbell (Fiancée Caitlin). Great Grandchildren: Broc Burgess, Chloe Nelson, Zoey Nelson and Braxtyn Benton. Siblings: Dale Chaney (Janice), Roy Chaney (Gloria), Tony Chaney (June), Pat Chaney (Carol) and Jake Chaney (Teri). Sister-In-Law, Ann Chaney. Nieces, Nephews and other family.
