William Andrew Schauer, age 69, Lincoln, passed away April 26, 2021. He was born in Tilden, NE to Harland Luther and Norma Julianne (Launt) Schauer March 27, 1952. Bill was a registered nurse where he was employed at Bryan Memorial Hospital. He was united to Florene M. Huffman in Fremont, NE on November 25, 1978.
Bill is survived by his wife, Florene; Sons, Aaron Michael Schauer, Adam Matthew Schauer (Rececca) Bashore, Lincoln; Grandson, Apollo Matthew-Joe Schauer, Lincoln; Brother, John Schauer (Jolene), Fremont. She is preceded in death by his parents, Son, Andrew McKennan Schauer.

My sincere condolences on Loss of your husband, father….Bill. Bill was a classmate of mine & such a gentle, kind person! I had no idea Bill was ill….& with our 51 at class reunion coming up in August 2021…..I know many will be that Bill won’t be there….. but he will never be forgotten. I am so sorry Florence for your loss. Bill was such a wonderful person and We had a lot of fun at work. I was honored when he asked me to take care of you after your accident many years ago. Your family will be in my prayers.
Florene and family. Sorry to hear about your loss. I still have very fond memories of working on ortho way back when. We had such an excellent group of nurses and we all got along so well. You were always a part of the “work” group whenever we would get together. Thinking of you!
