Glenn Edwin Buis, age 85, Panama, went to be with his Lord and Savior, July 31, 2021 from Lymphoma. He was born to Alco Henry and Elizabeth (Kallemeyn) Buis on Dec. 22, 1935 in Hickman. He was baptized at Firth Reformed Church, graduated Firth High School and Lincoln School of Commerce. He was a carpenter and owner/operator of Panama Locker, faithful member & elder at Panama Presbyterian Church, He coached little league baseball, was the former Mayor of Panama, and a faithful donor to the Blood Bank. Glenn was a member of the Panama Volunteer Fire Department, Beatrice Harmonizers, and Locker Association. He married his loving wife Shirley Mae Languis on April 5, 1956, they were married 65 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Deborah A. (Ron) Wilkinson, Lincoln; Son, Kevin L. (Melanie) Buis, Roca; Grandchildren, Kyle (Tara) Wilkinson, Michael Wilkinson, Brett (Rachael) Wilkinson, Mollie Miner, all Lincoln.
Great Grandchildren, Owen, Kade, Zane, Pierce, Bo, Calista, Belle, Emma, all Lincoln. Sister, Darlene Wissink, Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony in 2008. Siblings, Henrietta, Margaret, Melvin, Alfred, Delton, Kenneth, Clarence, Hank.
Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2021 at Panama Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com. Memorials in care of family for a future charitable donation to be made in Glenn’s memory. Trump Funeral Services, West “O” Street, Lincoln.

Thank you for thinking of us. Mom is doing pretty good, she wants to stay in Panama as long as possible. This has been quite an adjustment for her and wants to stay near her friends. Looking forward to seeing you in September
