Pedro Ramirez Reyes was born May 13, 1953 in Tamaulipas, Mexico, he departed this life on October 14, 2021 in Lincoln Nebraska. Pedro was born to Ramon and Estela (Ramirez) Reyes. The family moved to Nebraska in 1973 and made a home in Lincoln ever since. Pedro worked for Campbell’s Nursery for 30 plus years doing landscaping projects and various jobs around Campbell’s. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends and reminiscing about the old days and good times together.
He is preceded by death by his parents, Ramon and Estela. He is survived by his son, Pedro C. (Courtney) Avila; two grandsons, Christopher and Isaiah Avila, all of Lincoln, NE; brothers, Ramon Jr. Reyes, Jose (Angela) Reyes, Jesus (Diana) Reyes; sisters, Martina Alvarez, Guadalupe Reyes, Rogelia (Robert Sr.) Solorio; brother-in-law Mago Balderas, and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing and visitation will be held Thursday October 21, 2021 at Trump Funeral Home, 1600 West ‘O’ Street, Lincoln NE from 5-8 pm with Rosary starting at 6:00 pm. Cremation will take place after and graveside services will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 3880 “L” Street, Lincoln.
