Robert Francis “Bobby” Jackson was born on August, 17,1955 in Phoenix, Arizona to Robert Leroy Jackson (Oberlin, KS), and Virginia Francis Gonzales (McCook, NE). Bobby deeply loved his eight siblings; (oldest to youngest) Evelyn- “Ev/ Evie” (Atkinson), twin brothers Ray- “Scoup” and wife Cindy, Rick- and wife Ellen, (“Ms. Ellie”), Carol- and husband Dennis Pagel, Bill-“Billy and wife Michelle, Sharon- “Sherrie” and husband Tom McCarville, Patricia- “Pattie” & Ladonna- “Donna”. Bobby was engaged to be married to Penny the love of his life, and loved her family like his own.
In 1972, Bobby married Cathie (Herbert) Hanes, and was blessed with his daughter, Heather Dee, who married his son-in-law, Brent Berryman.  Bobby later married Connie (Meints) Stuckey, and was blessed with two sons Aaron James, who married his daughter-in-law, Letrice (Blanco) & Jason Robert.
Bobby “Popo” treasured his eight grandchildren Zachary Tafoya (and wife Angela), Jackson Berryman, Marqus Jackson, Emma Berryman, Cecilia &
Amaya Jackson, and twins Jason Robert Jr. and Jordan.  Like his father and his three brothers, Bobby worked as a brick mason. He owned and operated Diamond Blade Masonry.  He was a master craftsman of his trade and took great pride in his work.  Bobby had a contagious smile, and laugh, and his kindness, and sense of humor drew in everyone who met him.
Bobby was an outdoorsman, he liked to camp, hunt, fish. Indoors he enjoyed shooting pool, and he was not very easy to beat. He was the captain of his pool league , The Outlaws, where he played at Brewskys and Heidelbergs Sports Bars in Lincoln, NE. He rocked out to classic rock and country music. Bobby also liked watching sports on t.v. He was a big Nebraska Husker and Green Bay Packers fan. If he liked you, he’d be sure to give you a tour of his self-painted & decorated “man cave” at his home in Lincoln that he shared with Penny. He had it decked out in the most amazing Green Bay Packer’s memorabilia. Bobby treasured the time he spent with family. Being known as “Uncle Bobby” by his many nieces and nephews was very special to him. Bobby was a rebel to his nephews, and a Romeo to his nieces. His family’s adoration was only intensified by his “one of a kind” sense of humor and wit. He always had a comeback to anything anybody said and always had a catch phase ready for any situation. A man of compassion and acceptance to all he knew. Bobby will always hold a special place in our hearts.
On November 8th, 2021, God took him and placed him in his mother’s arms. We bless him with God’s love- “Bobby,” …..Thank you for all of the wonderful memories you have given us and for being such a special person in our lives. You are truly missed. You will never be forgotten.

Happy bday Pops! Just went out to your place and sat there for awhile. I was thinking about the days we lived in Wyoming. Those were the best days of my life. I honestly can’t think of a single memory without you in it! We had some good times out there huh?!? I’d give anything to be able to go back to that time in my life just so I could relive it all over again. But, such is life right. Just wanted to let ya know that I was thinking about you extra hard today and wishing I could just hug you man. I really miss you dad 🙁 all the time, but especially today. So happy 70th bday dad! Cheers to you up in heaven and know that you will never be forgotten. I love you and I miss you Pops. More than anything, no matter what!
