Nancy Joyce Brinton was born April 20, 1964 to Lorraine and George Sysel in Lincoln. Nancy passed away at home on February 28, 2022. Nancy was united in marriage to John Brinton on May 22, 1982. Nancy was a lover of animals. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Nancy was a wife, and homemaker.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and mother-in-law, Engie Brinton, and numerous pets. Nancy is survived by husband of 39 years, John Brinton. Sisters, Patty (Kevin) Gilmore of Eagle, and Janet Shaw of Lincoln, Father-in-Law Rex Brinton of Denton, Sister-in-Law, Brenda (David) Pape of Denton, Niece, Sara Meyer of Lincoln, Nephews, Dan (Melissa) Pape of Denton, and Steve (Kristy) Pape of Denton, many great nieces and nephews, great great nephews, and other family members and friends. Nancy is also survived by her many animals Chewie, Tundra, Teddy, Sidney, Emmit Miles, Lucy, and Salem all of which she dearly loved.
There will be a Celebration of Life Remembrance on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Denton Community Center, Denton, NE. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their memories of Nancy. Family requests no flowers. Memorials may be sent to the Capitol Humane Society of Lincoln.
