So sorry for your loss Ashley and Cody. I’m sure he was a great man, be assured of my prayers during this difficult time.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He taught me swimming lessons in Friend and then he was one of my sons teachers at Norris!!! He was always such a wonderful person and enjoyed visiting with him when we would run into each other.
So sorry to hear of Craig’s passing. He was my college teammate on the track team. He was a very unique person, I will miss him
To Craig’s family, I am so saddened to hear of Craig’s passing. I went to school in Friend with Craig from 6th grade on. We were always a close class, and losing a classmate as well as a friend leaves an emptiness I know the entire class of 1973 will feel. Craig always had such a great sense of humor, and loved to tease! He always had to remind me of a time he’d stopped by my house, where we had a tire swing. He got on the swing, and I twisted the rope up real tightly, then let him go. He spun around so fast, when he got off he threw up! Treasure your memories, as I certainly will. May our Lord comfort you at this time.
Sorry for your loss. Craig was always fun to be around at Norris. The kids enjoyed him a lot.
Sincerely,
Sincere condolences to Craig’s family and especially children I recently met during these past difficult times.
Craig was a classmate of Friend Public and friend who I enjoyed visiting with the last few years. He and another classmate joined in for get togethers on my deck during CoVid and later shared roadtrips and meals.
He had expressed interest in going to Ireland and catching the “Husker” game, unfortunately with deteriorating health -that was not to be.
Will very much miss our “deck time” together and his infectious laugh. RIP dear friend.
I went to school in Friend with Craig – David and Robert. We were also involved in scouting together. As a Fellow Eagle Scout I know what it took to achieve that rank. Like so many others before and since – Once an Eagle always an Eagle. I remember summer camp with him and David and dumping Doc Potter in the fire barrel. Still have that photo in my Scout album. I also remember Halloween and the rotten egg that got him as he was leaning out the back window of David’s station wagon. We all had to bail out due to the stench!! LOL. Craig is 5 years younger than me, but we still had good times together. Can’t leave without mentioning that old truck tire with 270 on it that went to summer camp, Philmont Scout Ranch and Charles L. Summers boundary waters trip. Craig will be missed and thoughts and prayers for his family.
If I could I would insert a circle with a dot in the middle.
Scout trail symbol for he’s gone HOME!
Our condolences. We partied a lot with Craig. May he RIP
