Richard was my brother. He had so many talents, but the one that he loved the most was painting. He painted almost 300 Soldiers that didn’t come home from Afghanistan. He painted 16×14” oil portraits of them and gave them to their parents. Many parents wanted to pay for them but Richard said their family member had paid the ultimate price. He was a great brother, and I loved him dearly!
He loved you too, Mary Ann!❤️
I am so very saddened for the passing of Richard. We were dear friends for many years. My deepest sympathy to all his family. Sending prayers & hugs to all. R.I.P. my friend!

We’ve been acquainted for many years and infrequently connected on social media. He was a man of many talents.
May he rest in peace.
He was the love of my life, the last thing he said to me , “I’ll meet you at the gate|”…I am looking forward to it. Elsie
