Jean Elizabeth (Slepicka) Voss Pester, age 85, Lincoln, passed away September 15, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born June 3, 1940 to John and Elizabeth (Lewman) Slepicka in Ashland, Nebraska.
Jean married Harvey W. Voss in 1967. To this union, two surviving children were born, Randy Voss and April Voss-Ostransky. After Harvey’s passing in the fall of 1991, Jean married Robert L. Pester in 1992.
Jean is survived by Randy Voss, April Voss-Ostransky, Vaughn Pester, Jeff Pester, Bonnie (Pester) Tompsett and Shelley (Pester) Smith. Also, there are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be performed on November 2, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, 839 County Road 12, Ithaca, Nebraska. Coffee and Desserts for Fellowship will immediately follow the graveside services at Zion Lutheran Church basement, 589 Country Road 13, Ithaca, Nebraska.
