The McGinnis and the Clancy family were such good friends for such a long time. So many of those good friends are gone now…and Carl, one more. Sorry to hear about the loss of another (former) Dawsonite. Jeanie, you and the rest of the family have our sympathy.
As it may be hard to figure out the connection…I was Josie Clancy, married to Joe Taylor, still in Dawson. Steve Clancy is my brother and Carl also knew my husband Joe.
Charlotte: Thanks for your e-mail. It is hard to see them go. We have lost 3 McGinnis brothers since Thanksgiving last year-Jim, Tom & now my Dad. Mom says it is nice to hear from you and great to see your Mom again and that she and Dad sure had a lot of fun with Dan and Cyril. Take Care, Jean and Chuck McGinnis
Hi Chuck –
I ran across the obituary for your dad and I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed seeing your folks at the fish fry at St. John’s. If there is anything I can do for your mom, let me know. I have moved to the north side of town and I don’t think she lives to far away from me.
