Reuben Earl Pribyl was called to Home on January 17 th , 2025 at the age of 83 years old. He was born on June 25 th , 1941 to William & Lillian Pribyl in Geneva, Nebraska. Reuben attended Tobias Public School and graduated in 1959. This is where he met his Wife Sharon Bartels, of 62 years. They lived in Western, NE and later moved to the family farm west of Western. They had three children, Robin, James, and Jack. Reuben enjoyed drag racing, flying, hunting and fishing, collecting guns, and going to auctions with Sharon.

Reuben was the oldest son of William (Bill) and Lillian Pribyl. He is preceded in death by his parents, a young brother Earl, and his wife Sharon (11/27/2024). He is survived by his sister Roine (Duane) Swanson of Lincoln. The couple leaves behind their children: Robin Pribyl-Dittmer (Kurtis) of Western, NE, Jamie Pribyl (Julie) of Unionville, MO, and Jack Pribyl (Angie) of Western, NE. Grandchildren include: Michele Bales, Anthony Whitmore, Rylee Pieper, Justin Pribyl, Jaydon Pribyl, Halle Nuss (Garrett), Kaylee Pribyl, and great grandchildren.
