Keller, Verneda A., age 92, Hickman, died June 6, 2015 in Lincoln. Born May 18, 1923 in Western, NE to William and Francis (Brunkow) Schnell. She was the Student Union Manager at UNL for 19 years and a Certified Apartment Manager for 11 years before retiring. She was actively involved with charitable work at Shepherd of the Hills ELCA, Hickman.
Verneda is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Carolyn Keller of Sprague, Eugene and Joyce Keller of Sprague, Danny and Bev Keller of Lincoln, and Randy and Pam Keller, Lincoln; Daughter-in-law, Carol Keller Bloodworth of Omaha, Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Rose Schnell of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H., son, Roger, parents, and siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Shepherd of the Hills ELCA; 6901 Panama Road; Hickman with Pastor Ron Drury officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Memorials in care of Shepherd of the Hills ELCA. Arrangements by Trump Funeral Services, 1600 W. “O” Street, Lincoln.
