Wilma Lois (Clough) Warne, age 91, of Lincoln, died June 8, 2016 in Lincoln while living at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on April 24, 1925 to David E. and Minnie C. (McLain) Warne in Compton, CA.  Wilma was one of seven children.  Her family moved to Lincoln when she was approximately five years old.  Her father was a painter and wallpaper hanger.  Her mother was a housewife.  Wilma grew up in Lincoln where she attended Lincoln High School.  During WWII she worked inn Mead at the Ord Ordinance Plant.  In 1945 she married Verdeen (Burr) D. Clough, three children were born to this union, Joyce, Jeanne, and Gary.  Wilma worked at the Cornhusker Hotel as Landmark Hostess and also at Norden Labs, retiring after 24 years of service.  While employed at Norden Labs, she made many friends at work and on the Norden’s Bowling League.  Wilma and her family vacationed in Minnesota, the Black Hills, and Washington where her brother, Cub, lived.  Retirement brought time for home improvements, gardening, and traveling to casinos with friends.  Wilma was a loving, nurturing grandmother and was a big influence in the their lives.  Later on in her retirement, she traveled to Hawaii, and other locations.  Wilma loved having fun and would greet people with a big smile.

Wilma is survived by her daughters, Joyce L. Clough of Lincoln, Jeanne M. and son-in-law Norman L. Hansen of Lincoln; her son, Gary S. Clough of Lincoln.  Grandchildren, Faith Hansen, Sean Clough, Shanna (Chris) Bigsby, Erin Fritter, Tom (Maggie) Fritter, Josh Nisely; Great Grandchildren, Jordan Hansen, Savannah Sorenson, Korina Allsman, Skylar Clough, Dustin Clough, Nick Bigsby, Melissa Bigsby, Chase Bigsby, Noah Bigsby, Cody (Samantha) Bruggeman, Madison Vanek, Haley Kurtzer, Corina Nicely; Great Great Grandchildren, Emerson Bruggeman, Owen Bruggeman. Many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Almo, Cub, Joe, and Jack Warne.  Sisters, Audrey Wright and Jeannie King.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Wyuka Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather in the parking lot, 3600 “O” Street, Lincoln at 9:15 a.m.
