Jim Dean Wilson, 64, of Bennet, entered into Glory on May 26, 2019.  Born March 5, 1955 to John Walter and Seta (Lassen) Wilson. Jim graduated from Palmyra High School in 1973 and received his Associate’s Degree from SCC Milford. He farmed his entire life and was a UPS driver for 36 years.  Jim married his “dream girl”, and high school sweetheart, Terry Lee Manners in August 1975 and raised their three boys on a farm east of Bennet.

Survivors include wife Terry (Manners) Wilson of Bennet; sons: Bryce (Christine) Wilson, Ryan (Jiree) Wilson, Chad Wilson all of Bennet; grandchildren: Jace, Logan, Mikah, Cade, Allee and Evanie Wilson; sisters and brothers: Merna McDiffett, Bill (Karen) Wilson, John Tvrdy, Lyle Stolte, Don (Arvilla) Wilson, Carol (Tony) Wenzl, Christal (Dan) Dehning; in-laws: Jerry and Joel Pearson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents John and Seta Wilson, parents-in-law Raymond and Erma Manners, brother-in-law Ray McDiffett, and sisters June Tvrdy and Betty Stolte.

A celebration of life will be held at Faith Bible Church, 6201 South 84th Street, Lincoln, on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with a private family burial. A gathering will be held at Country Bible Church, 16140 South 148th Street, Bennet on Friday evening for anyone wishing to visit with family from 6-8 p.m.  Memorials may be given to Country Bible Church or MD Anderson Cancer Center.
