Memories: caring for Jeff from infancy and toddler. His antagonism of our small dog Trixie, to its point of exhaustion.Around and down driveway, on tricycle , usually on 2 wheels until his Uncle Sam had to weld one back on.
Taking my Jeff to my neighborhood coffees and to ceramic classes, sometimes in his cute blue overalls and red necked candy stripe shirt.
My Jeff being in his cousins wedding. Gettng my Jeff a job where I worked.
My Jeff serving on our Cemetery board with me, lovingly and meticulously caring for our families’ graves.
My Jeff bringing a washer for my hose and also driving a stake in cement-like ground.
Talks at end of my driveway, honks going by about 3:30 each morning.
Oh, how I’ll miss my Jeff.
Shannon and family. So sorry for your loss. Many good times and memories with Jeff. M/B was usually the beginning of many stories. He will be missed by many.
Shannon and family, we were so sad to hear about Jeff. He was one of kind, in a very good way.
For us, Jeff was an ornery 5 year old who was the ring bearer at our wedding. He grew to be a big guy with an even bigger heart. I remember talking to him about the cemetery when he was doing the mowing. He said he really enjoyed working and being out there, and that occasionally he would stop for a bit to talk with his Grandpa Earl. When we were at the farm, we could see the pride and love he had for the farm and all of his animals. He shared that love with family and friends. Even though we didn’t see him often, he will be missed.
My memories of Jeff include lots of fun, laughter and great talks. I remember going on drives together just to do those things when we were in our twenties. Jeff was always there when I needed him as we got older, his devotion to family never waivered. When we were little he was Jeffy, the onery one, then he grew up to be a man any family would be lucky to have; his heart was as big as his cowboy hat. Jeff – you were loved by so many and I’ll never forget you. Thank you for being my cousin and my friend.
Shannon and family I send my condolences. I sure hope you know I send you peace.
Borgman Family, I am so sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. I was new to the area 25 years ago and met the Borgman Family over the years at the local taverns. Each one of them was always a great time and always welcomed me. I got to know Jeff through his wife Shannon, and his cousin Luke. Being a neighbor to his Mom in Denton completed the circle. It was so nice to have Jeff and his family around the Denton area. Even though did not get to talk to Jeff that much, the few times him and Shannon stopped in Denton he was always a fun guy to visit with. Talk about farm stuff and how things have changed so much over the years. From myself and everyone in Denton, we send our heartfelt sympathies to you all.
