Deborah-Lin Marie Davison, February 18th, 1971 ~ December 14th, 2025.
On December 14, 2025, after a courageous year long battle with ovarian cancer, the world lost a woman whose presence was simply too big, too bold, and too full of heart to ever be forgotten. Surrounded by the love of her family, she left this life the same way she lived it—fighting with everything she had.
She was a stubborn soul in the best possible way, a woman who refused to give up even when life gave her every reason to. Though her early years were marked by difficult choices and imperfect moments, she spent the latter part of her life rewriting her story with intention, grace, and a fierce commitment to becoming the mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother she wanted to be. Her children were her greatest joy, her deepest pride, and the center of her world.
To know her was to feel her magnetism. She had a gift for storytelling—pulling people in with her humor and the way she could make even the simplest memory feel alive. Her heart was enormous, her spirit expansive, and her love for her family unwavering. She was deeply spiritual, guided by a higher power that grounded her, comforted her, and shaped the way she moved through the world.
Deborah-Lin is preceded in death by her Father, Richard Edwin Stripling Sr., and her Grandparents Begina Calo and Ramon Calo. She is survived by her mother, Carmen Julia Stripling; her sister, Sullivann Edwin Stripling; and her brother, Richard Edwin Stripling Jr. She leaves behind her beloved children – her sons, Donovan Edwin Smith, Jacob Austin Davison, Trevor Michael Heath, and her daughter, McKenzy Dawn Leurquin—who will forever carry her strength within them. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Addyson June Davison, Aydain Aria Leurquin, Kylian Allan Davison and Delaney Marie Davison, each of whom brought light and purpose to her life.
Her story is one of resilience, redemption, and boundless love. She will be missed more than words can express, but her spirit lives on in every person she touched, every story she told, and every heart she helped shape. May she rest in peace, held in the same love she gave so freely.
