He loved to read comic books in his younger years and then many different genre in later life. He was a talented pencil artist and enjoyed entertaining his nieces and nephew when they were around taking them to the zoos, the safari, movies, state fairs and other attractions in the area.  He took his aunts and uncles to some of these as well.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, William (Bill) and Jo, his nephew Robert Wallen, and his nieces Lexi Wallen, Nichol Markwell, Jessica Johnson, and their children

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Trump Funeral Services, 1600 West “O” Street, Lincoln with Rev. Darin S. Corder officiating.  Visitation, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday at Trump Funeral Services.  Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com.
