Albert Shadley Guthrie, age 91, Lincoln, formerly Louisville, passed away March 25, 2017 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. He was born August 9, 1925 in Bloomfield, Iowa to John and Clara (Shadley) Guthrie. Albert was a Korean War and United States Army veteran. He was a longtime employee at Western Electric in Omaha and a member of the First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth.
Survivors include his sons, John of Louisville, Joseph (Susan) of Wichita, Kansas, and Clair (Mary) of Lincoln, 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and a sister, Alice Snell of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 16220 Highway 75, Plattsmouth with Pastor Raymond Wicks officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church Thursday. Condolences may be left at trumpmemorials.com.
